For months I had been trying to find someone (social worker/counselor) to talk to who could understand my situation as a caregiver (8 yrs) to my husband with dementia & Parkinsonism. I became very depressed and everyday was a struggle. Because Dr. Bishai had treated my back pain a few years ago I thought he might could help me with my depression...and he did!! He listened, understood my situation and explained what was happening in my brain that was causing the fatigue, depression & lack of motivation. We worked out a course of treatment and I am finally beginning to feel like my old self again (normal) and it feels great! I don't know how or where I would be if I had not met with Dr. Bishai!! My experience visiting the Woodlands psychiatry, Dr. Bishai Was quite different than What I was expecting. I mean that in the best way possible. Some people are very nervous on their first experience going to a psychiatrist, I want you to know that from the moment I entered this office the ladies at the front desk were extremely welcoming and very kind. They are very gentle, friendly individuals and you can tell by the tone set from the moment you walk in that this doctor must be very focused and in tune with his patients. The Moment when Dr Bishai /psychiatrist came out to call me into his office it was amazing? That’s right… Because most doctors don’t come out to call you into their office they have their assistant do that for them. Not Dr Bishai , He does it himself. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone who is seeking any kind of help rather it be post traumatic stress or a horrible horrific brain injury or even just a panic disorder or anxiety disorder. This doctor has truly changed my life and I’m going to continue to utilize his services as well As my son is who has a brain injury from a horrible accident. Dr Bishai a true scientist of the brain. He listens, he takes notes, and he looks you right in the eye to let you know he cares. He fixes people and that’s what he loves to do most. He is very very serious about what he does and expects his patients to be a serious about getting themselves where they need to be. Dr. Bishai has been wonderful and very knowledgeable in helping my family. He has a true concern and care for his patients, wanting the best for them. He communicates well with his patients, their families and makes himself available to his patients when they need him the most. The staff at his office is caring, understanding and willing to help in anyway they can. The peace it brings knowing he is a professing Christian is priceless. I highly recommend Dr. Bishai.

I have known Dr. Bishai since 2014. I have worked for him off and on since 2014. Dr. Bishai is not just my boss he was also my back doctor and my mental counselor. First he treated me for muscle spasms. My spasms would get so bad they left me crying and unable to focus on anything other than that pain. He would always take away the pain. Dr. Bishai is the only doctor that I have seen for my spasms that seemed to know what to do. Dr. Bishai's was also a pillar of strength and advise when I was going through Cancer the second time. I was so sick and mentally worn down and there were times that I was not sure I was going to make it or even if I wanted to make it through. When I would get to that breaking point and break down in tears Dr. Bishai would sit with me, listen to me and guide me to a better place (no medications) and at the end of our chats he would even pray for and with me! His heart for his patients is very real. He truly cares for his patients and wants to do whatever treatment he feels will make them better. Don't get me wrong, if you go to see him and all you are wanting is medication, save yourself the trip and expense. He will not prescribe long term medications. He offers various solutions that help to get his patients in a real world life style. A lifestyle that will make you feel better and be able to deal with life's challenges and not make you feel defeated! He has been practicing medicine long enough he can tell in most cases people that really need and want help and those that just want medications. I adore Dr. Bishai! I have not had a muscle spasms in my back for several years now! My mental issues have long been worked out. I am in such a good place today and I owe that to him! Thank you Dr. Bishai for always being there for me and my needs! I always refer people to him when I know they help and truly want it!

I have been seeing Dr.Bishai for about 6 months now and in those 6 months I have seen a huge improvement in how I feel. I love how Dr.Bishai took the time to listen and shows he cares about what I am saying. I highly recommend seeing this doctor. He is great.
